ExSSA Philadelphia, a.k.a. ExSSA Philly
My dear sisters and aunties,
Sing along with me!
Praise the Savior, ye who know Him.
Who can tell how much we owe Him?
Gladly let us render to Him
all we are and have.
This is that tender moment when I want to write poetry, but my joy runs ahead of my lines and leaves me with plain speech.
Simply put: I am excited.

Wherever you are reading this, pause and hear me announce, with rapture and with gratitude, the birth of the 16th chapter of ExSSA USA:
Name : ExSSA Philadelphia, a.k.a. ExSSA Philly
Moniker : Virtuous Ladies
This chapter did not appear by accident. It has been over two years in the making, and it stands on a solid foundation. We already know its mettle because of who has been at the forefront—a tried-and-tested leader within ExSSA USA.
Yes, this chapter was founded under the organizational leadership of Dr. Constance Aso Ndi, the Immediate Past President of ExSSA New York/New Jersey. For those who may not know, she used to drive two hours or more to host meetings in New York and New Jersey, dedication in the superlative.
She was joined by a committed team of current MAL members and innovative Sakerettes in the area who said, “Count me in,” and followed through.
So again.

Sisters, facts do not lie. New chapters and new members do not happen in a vacuum. ExSSA USA is growing because the air around us carries an unmistakable fragrance of clear vision and direction, good stewardship, visible impact, trust and credibility, strong member engagement, and, yes, the living spirit of our motto: Love, Unity, Sisterhood.
And the good news is this: We are not folding our arms. We are forging ahead. We are reaching forward with enthusiasm and an enhanced vision, because we have more work to do and more sisters to hold in our circle of love.
On this note, please join me in welcoming our sisters of ExSSA Philly, especially those who are new to the association. Bring your brand of magic, and help us deepen our renewal for this season.
God remains good. Always.
In Love, Unity, and Sisterhood,
Dr. J a.k.a
Prof. Joyce Ashuntantang,
Committed Laborer in God's Vineyard
President, ExSSA USA
On behalf of NEC, ExSSA USA
