Branch Uniform Selection

Dear Esteemed Members,
We are pleased to share the results of the final vote for our branch uniform selection:
• Pink/Purple: 187 votes
• Blue: 106 votes
Based on these results, the Pink/Purple fabric has been officially selected as the EXSSA USA Branch Uniform.
Total 293/417 voted = 70%. Quite impressive.
We sincerely thank every one of you for taking the time to participate in this important decision. Your engagement and input are what continue to strengthen our organization.
We Are Off to Printing: Any Corrections?
We are now moving into the printing phase. Our fabric designer is in Ghana, where the fabric will be printed. The printing process is expected to take about three weeks.
As we prepare for printing, we have received the following correction:
1. Please note: it should read “Est. 2001” and not “Est. in 2001.”
If there are any other corrections, please send them to me within the next 48 hours.
Choosing Our Signature Uniform Style: Be a Part of This
While the fabric is being printed, we will move to the next phase: selecting the style. Since this is a uniform, not an ashwabi, we will adopt one approved style for all members.
The Uniform Committee has already received two style options, including our original ExSSA USA Coconut uniform style.
Members are therefore requested to send additional sample style suggestions to the Uniform Committee through their Social Secretary by Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
The Uniform Committee will review all styles submitted and select the top two or three options for members to choose from. We need to complete this process before the fabric arrives.
Criteria for Style Selection
1. The style should suit all body types, with particular attention to comfort and flexibility around different waistlines and proportions.
2. The style should be classic and timeless, not based on passing trends.
3. The style should not be sleeveless or feature a single sleeve.
4. The outfit could be two pieces or one piece.
5. The style should be decent, elegant, age-appropriate, and reflective of the uniformity and sisterhood the uniform represents.
6. It should be easy to sew consistently across different tailors and locations.
7. The style should allow for comfortable movement during meetings, church services, conventions, and other association events.
