Visit to the Cameroon Ambassador to the United States.
Dear Esteemed Members,
I trust you are all doing fine.
I traveled to Maryland for the graduation of my niece, Helen Eseme, and seized the opportunity to request an audience with the Cameroon Ambassador to the United States. The meeting took place yesterday, Monday, June 15.
We had a productive and engaging conversation. I took the opportunity to inform him of our upcoming 25th Anniversary Convention and our successful intervention to have the Cameroon flag added to the City of Dallas' international flag display.
It was also an excellent opportunity to highlight the work and impact of ExSSA USA, not only in the United States but also in Cameroon. I shared some of our initiatives, including scholarships and mentorship for vulnerable girls, educational and leadership programs at Saker Baptist College, infrastructure projects on campus, and our continued investment in empowering young women and giving back to our communities.
Overall, it was a meaningful engagement that further strengthened the visibility of ExSSA USA as we proudly represent Cameroon and our alma mater through service, sisterhood, and positive community impact.
LUSly yours,
Dr. J
